Initially, not off to a good start as we had booked via Booking dot com and expected to pay upon arrival, as per listed on their website. To be fair, the hotel did email us and ask us for our credit card details, but I wasn’t 100% sure that it was a scam, so emailed the hotel and said we would pay upon arrival. We arrived just past midnight after an 8 hour flight, only to discover they had cancelled our reservation, they’d emailed us when we were in the air to let us know. The hotel was full so they recommended a place down the road which was more expensive and not on a par with Happy Life but we had no choice. The doorman very kindly helped us down the road with our luggage. The next day, we were able to rebook with Happy Life, and so glad we did. The entrance to the hotel is very comfortable and inviting, and all the reception staff were very friendly. The room was comfortable and clean, tea and coffee facilities and serviced everyday. The water pressure wasn’t brilliant, but we got by. There was a window in the room, but only looked out onto the corridor. Be wary of the windows, as they are not very secure! Though locked, we were easily able to push it open from the corridor. The bed was super comfy. Could have done with something to put our suitcases on. There is no safety deposit box in the room, but you can leave any valuables with the receptionist if you choose to do so. The restaurant is lovely visually, breakfast is great. We tried it in the evening and the staff were pretty useless unfortunately. My husband had finished his meal before I was served mine. No alcohol! Shame we couldn’t have a glass or wine or a beer with dinner. (And it’s vegetarian only in the evening). The hotel is located a bit out of the main shopping / nightlife area, though is only around a 25 minute walk (on very rough sidewalks, so bear this in mind if you have any kind of mobility issues). Would we book again? Definitely if it was in a better location.

Happy Life Green Hotel is a lovely place with a nice lobby and dining area. The breakfast is decent, but when the early-rising pensioners arrive, the best options run out quickly. However, eggs and bread are always available. The reception staff are very friendly and speak good English. The only downside is that the rooms aren’t the cleanest—there was some dust in the bathroom, a dead insect on the wall, and the shower water flowed toward the toilet. We’re not too picky about these things, so we found it more amusing than bothersome, but more sensitive guests might not be as happy with it. Overall, considering the great price and location, these are minor issues, and we’d still recommend the hotel!

Upon arrival, the receptionist gave us a warm welcome, and the customer service was excellent. They spoke English, making it very tourist-friendly. The standard room was clean, with excellent air conditioning, a hot shower, a clean bathroom with a blower, conveniently placed outlets near the bed, and a mini bar stocked with drinks for purchase. They also changed the sheets and towels and cleaned the room every day. We paid about $115 for five days, which was extremely affordable and included breakfast. The buffet breakfast offered a variety of food suitable for tourists.

I've been there many times and you can easily find my many reviews. I don't have much more to add to those reviews. It's a fine hotel with very competitive prices. One thing I could add is that the staff is really working on every little detail: in fact they clearly read the reviews and try to improve in response to the critiques. Another thing I could add is that the design of the hotel is very beautiful, mostly based on green and wood, and agricultural and traditional motives. I'll try to add some photos, if booking allows it

I just had a fantastic experience at Happy Life Green Hotel, and I can’t help but share it. The hotel’s location is truly ideal, situated right in the city center, making it convenient to explore all the major attractions. The staff here is incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist and provide advice to ensure I had the most comfortable stay. I received a complimentary room upgrade, and the room was spacious and beautifully decorated, providing a perfect atmosphere for relaxation.
